ABOUT THE VENUE

The congress will be held at the Cultural Center of Huaraz (Peru). The city of Huaraz is located at the foothills of the Cordillera Blanca at 3000 m above sea level and not only has a superb landscape, but also all the amenities necessary for this event such as hotels, hospitals and centers of attraction for all ages.

The Cordillera Blanca is considered one of the most beautiful glacier mountain ranges in the world and at its feet is the beautiful Callejón de Huaylas with picturesque cities of colonial air in union with its Andean nature.

A total of 722 individual glaciers were recognized in the Cordillera Blanca and have 5 peaks above 6000 meters above sea level, making it a mandatory destination for high mountain adventurers and researchers in climate change phenomena, natural hazards and environment.
